What is the Wall of Shame?
This page highlights providers that are behind the times on IPv6. In 2026, customers should not have to fight for basic IPv6 connectivity, functional addressing, or modern home/network setups.

Why “no IPv6” is bad
- IPv4 is exhausted: IPv4-only networks increasingly rely on CGNAT, which breaks inbound connectivity and complicates many applications.
- Modern services expect IPv6: many platforms, mobile networks, and enterprise environments prefer or require IPv6 for optimal reachability.
- Operational pain: IPv4-only often means more NAT layers, more state, more troubleshooting, and harder scaling.
- It blocks normal customer use-cases: self-hosting, VPNs, IoT, gaming, and peer-to-peer apps all suffer when there’s no real end-to-end addressing.

Why a single /64 delegation is bad
- A /64 is one LAN: it’s fine for a single segment, but real networks have multiple segments (guest Wi‑Fi, IoT, lab, servers, etc.).
- It discourages sane routing: without additional prefixes, users end up bridging everything into one flat network or resorting to hacks.
- It limits security and segmentation: proper network isolation needs separate subnets; a single /64 makes that much harder.
- It breaks “IPv6 done right”: IPv6 is supposed to make addressing easy and abundant; delegating only one /64 defeats that goal.

- It signals technical debt: keeping legacy services IPv4-only slows migrations and pushes complexity onto customers.
